About the Work
At sun rise, warm hues of pink and gold spill into the cool blues of the sea, blurring the line between yesterday and what is yet to come. The foam onshore drifts and disappears, echoing the passing of time and the gentle awakening of the world.
This work invites the viewer to linger in the space between stillness and movement, where each wave carries a question and each sunrise holds a promise. It reflects the quiet optimism of new beginnings, ever reflected in the ocean’s endless motion and the tender light of dawn.Artist Biography
Sabrina Warner is a Canadian-born visual artist whose acrylic paintings are deeply rooted in the sacred rhythms of nature and the emotional tides of personal transformation. Raised in St. Kitts, and having lived in Canada, London (England), Japan, St. Lucia, Jamaica, Anguilla and St. Kitts and Nevis, Sabrina's artistic lens is shaped by a rich tapestry of cultures, landscapes, and spiritual traditions. Her work reflects the profound beauty she has witnessed across continents— each place offering its own palette of light, texture, and elemental magic.
A graduate of Western University in Ontario-ranked among the top 10 Canadian universities for Art & Design and globally recognized for its academic excellence-Sabrina's creative foundation is both rigorous and expansive. Her practice is inspired by the stages of her life and the natural world, with a particular reverence for water. The sea, in all its moods and mysteries, serves as a recurring muse-evoking deep emotion and spiritual reflection.
Sabrina's seascapes and nature infused compositions have been showcased for private clients in Jamaica, and her original works are held in private collections in Japan, the United States, Jamaica, St. Lucia, and St. Kills. Each canvas is a portal-an invitation to pause, to be captivated, and to remember that magic exists in the quiet majesty of the world around us.
Her art is not only a celebration of landscape but a spiritual offering -an embodiment of the belief that beauty is a gateway to presence, and that nature holds the power to awaken, nourish, and connect us to something greater.
